I got a intergrally suppressed AWC Ruger 10/22. I also got a Vector Uzi coming real soon and an AWC MK9 submachine gun suppressor ordered.
What should I get next?
I am thinking M16, Mini-Uzi, or something WWII. Seems like a Mac is not that great of investment deal. I got the Machine Gun price guide so help me out. As of today I have no cash saved for this project but I can sell other stuff if I have too.

How about,
1)Suppressed Ruger 22/45 to go with the 10/22?
2)Norrel trigger pack for your 10/22?
3).45 conversion kit and .45 suppressor for your uzi? DOnt forget the .22 LR converiosn kit either!
4)Thompsons are always pretty cool!
My select fires are a full size uzi, SWD 11/9, and a Stemple 76/45 (in transfer) The macs arent appreciating as fast as other class 3 stuff at this time but they might in the future. There are also so many accessories for the mac that they are just fun to buy stuff for. BTW, what is the going price for a Stemple and suppressor in the Price guide? Just curious.

My first machinegun was a Vector Uzi. My second is an M16 RR (still waiting on form 4). I bought the M16 because I can shoot 22lr, 9mm, and 5.56mm. It's like having three different weapons in one. If you count the Shrike, make that four. Buy an adapter and you can mount your MK9 when shooting 9mm. When I buy weapons, I don't think of "investment." My purchase is based on "gotta have." I took the advice given by others and bought what I wanted first. If you settle now, you'll probably pay more for the one you really want later.

Ditto to Dan,
If you don't shoot your title one stuff sell it. In 2004 if the ban lifts you can buy back what you want to, but there will most likely never be a lift on the ban of MG's. So sell what you can sell and borrow the rest to buy what you want. I'd say if you can swing the funds get an M16 either a DIAS or RR. They are most convertable MG on the markey today . Looking back I wished I had gotten an M16 instead of an HK 33. But during that period HKs were sexy and M16's were old school. There wasn't any different gadgets or cool add on's like we have today.
So if your budget only allows so much, get a MAC of some sorts. I have one and like everything they have their place in greater scheme of MGs. Ruger AC 556's are still relatively cheap and fun to shoot. Stemple's are also good, but with the owner and orginal mfg of the tubes in legal battle now we may see additional Stemples for a long time.
If you can find an FNC on the market Curtis Higgins has more auto sears for the FNC than there are FNC's on the market.
Pick your poison and go after it. Changing a famous line from the Navy Seals " the only cheaper day was yesterday "

So sell it or trade it. A HK33 RR conversion sells for about $8k and you can get a decent M16 for that. It won't be a factory Colt M16A2 but it's doable. I'd just buy a DIAS for like $6k and you can build a new gun from the ground up. $2k will give you a lot of options.
I did the reverse of Dan, I got the M16 first. The Vector is pending so I can keep shooting 9mm with the 10.5" FA upper on the 16. I am going to get the Shrike™ when it is actually on the market... as in opening my copy of SAR and calling them up for an overnight FedEx drop to my house "market". Bottom line... get the M16 IMHO. -Z06

Personally I'm very happy with my HK registered sear. Drop it in an HK94 SBR or an HK91 or an HK93. Good fun. You could also drop it in an SW45 for an full auto 45 acp or an SW52 for a full auto 7.62x39. And there's the Vector V-53 that it will work with.

I have to dito the above comments. You need a rifle caliber MG. Both the M16 and the HK weapons are very versitile. An HK registered sear could hop from gun to gun. An M16 can equally wear just about any upper and be a variety of guns at any given time. I guess it just comes down to which one you like more. You should shoot them both before you make your desision. I personaly like the fire controls of the M16 better. My thumb is too short to reach the HK sellector without shifting my grip; therefore, I bought the M16. Happy shopping.

Absolutely true. It's a whole different world. The .223 is fun. The .308 is punishing but sometimes a guy just wants a little punishment.
If you want a older subgun, the MP40 and Swedish K are both highly regarded.

I would not consider my collection complete until all of the following are in it:
Uzi SMG + Suppressor
MAC10 + Suppressor
MP5 + Suppressor
M16 + Suppressor
HK91 + Suppressor
Suppressed 10/22
Suppressed Mark II
Suppressed Remington 700P
HK USP/TAC + .45 Suppressor
Obviously I have a long way to go, but at I do have a roadmap.
