Just got back from the range. My buddy brought his new SW 760 he loaded it and it shot fine. Reloaded it, handed it to me and I had about 4-5 light primer strikes. Primer is dented but no bang. I put the light strikes in my uzi..bang. What gives? He was using winchester white box. It also would double or bump fire once in a while from limp wristing. Kinda cool. Once in a while it would catch a round and squish it sideways fubaring that case completely. Any thoughts? Sully

Sounds like the bolt is hanging up on the mag. Check to see if the tops of the mag feed lips are real shiny. If they are, lightly tap them down with a hammer and see if it still malfunctions.

The mags that come with the 760 are questionable. Mine sucked and did the same thing. Modified Suomi mags if done right work perfect. Scroll down on the threads here.

Thanks. I'll let him know what to look for.

There you go... Sounds like you can try the slide trick.... Take out the recoil spring....Put the bolt back in... first without a mag... Pull the trigger and tip the gun up n down and see if it sldes freely.... Then try with an unloaded mag... See if it slides free.... I think it should still might drag a little on the follower but not on the feed lips.... If you want to be really sure pop the follower out of the mag.
