Having finally obtained a Micro, and picking up some additional Vector 32rd mags at the Creek this weekend, I would like to know. I assume the ROF on the Micro is completely running off and leaving a drum's feed rate, but has anyone actually tried? I have C&S drums for MP-5 and Mk 760 but they are much slower ROF. Just curious to hear comments from anyone who has tried. Also, the South American 40 rd mags. I read somewhere those mags were not made for Uzi's but something else, and that they have a notch cut into them that is not correct, but near that of an UZI. Some peoples guns will take them (with varying degrees of tightness) others guns will not. Has anyone actually measured notch distance and could they be renotched for correct lockup in Uzi's? I guess I am on the search for the biggest feed possible for this new little bullet hose. Anybody welding mags together?

Sure, SoFLtodd has a video of him shooting my MICRO in open bolt w/ my C&S drum. Works great!!
Below is his site.

I have yet to try the drum w/ my Closed bolt.
Is your MICRO closed or Open bolt?

Yes, the 40 round SA mags are made for I think the FMK. the mag stops are lower than they should be for an UZI. Vector cuts the notch in them for the UZI mag catch. Many say they are fine when you give them a tug down after insertion. I stick to IMI 32's myself.

Mine is an open bolt. Guess I'll be looking for a C&S Uzi drum now. I have the pistol barrel threaded and will be trying it with an AWC Mk9 full size can too.
