What is an Uzi .41 AE worth?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and to Uzi weapons. I was at a pawn shop and saw an IMI Uzi .41 AE for sale asking $895. It was in good shape, folding stock, 16in barrel, but didn't appear to have any mags. Appx how much do ya'll think a weapon like that would be worth? Thanks for the help.

An IMI Model B (which is the same thing in 9mm) is worth $900-$1000 in nice shape. If you bought the model 41, all you need to do is pick up a 9mm barrel and a 9mm mag and you're ready to go.

i dought it will have the boxes. but at 900 that's a fair price. but also considering you will need to get a 41AE mag and ammo and these do not run cheap.
The 9mm barrel & mags are readily avaiable and is a drop in. Both uses the same bolt.

I'd buy it for that price. You'd probably have to wait a long time to find a better deal.

Well, I guess I'm a real "Uzi Talk" member now....yeah, I broke down and bought it. I talked the guy down to $825 and that included tax, so I don't think it was too bad of a deal. The weapon is in damn fine condition (little dirty but who cares) and the serial number is 005XXX so I guess that's low enough (not that it matters). Thanks for all the help guys, and I'm sure I will have plenty of questions in the near future. :cool

An Unloved Uzi is brought back to life. Now all you need to do is find an 41AE mag and ammo.
or a 9mm barrel and mag.

I think that'll go the conversion route. I have a lot of 9mm ammo laying around the house that needs to be shot. Where do you suggest I buy my barrel from? I've seen a lot of references to Vector on this site, but I might check out the local gun show that's going on this weekend. What's a good price on a 9mm barrel and 32rd mags?

Good deal. I'd order a barrel from Vector and get the cheap 25rd. mags ($8-$20 depending on where you order them from).
