It has been awhile since I read this board on a regular basis. But I noticed a couple of posts about problems with Vector semi Uzi. Are these problems out of the latest batch?

I purchased mine August 2004. I never did a range report or anything, but I can say I have over 1000 rounds of Winchester White Box through it using Lyttleton mags, and have never had a malfunction of any kind. Maybe it just isnt broken it yet. The reason I bought it was to have just a fun extra gun to take to the range to do some blasting. Not really have to worry about cleaning it, and know everytime I pull the trigger it would go bang. At 50 yards shooting it can sometimes get boring because it hits what I aim at.

I would also like to add that when I called Vector to order it, they were very helpful and patient with me (I called back a couple times to add or change sights, and receiver type).

If this sounds like I am pro Vector, well I am. They were great to deal with and the semi Uzi I got is outstanding. For anyone that is trying to decide if they should get an Uzi, all I can say is mine works great and I jonesing to get a Vector AK.

The ones with problems are shipped in JAN till MAR area.. your UZI is shipped prior to the unspec parts in question. NO worries mate.

Sounds like Vector got it sorted out... Mostly a new batch of recoil springs that were to weak...
