I got me a shooter's position. Go there every year. I think some of the .50's are landing in Kansas LOL!
I just started a new job and told the boss that I needed a 4 day weekend in Mid May or I wouldn't take the job. That's how much fun I have there.
No shit. A couple of years back, they had 35# of dynamite to use before the licensee took off back to Denver. Farmer brought out an old motor home. Put it about 1200 yds downrange. They spray painted a big red X on the side of the thing. Behind the bulls eye were propane tanks, 5 gallon cans of gas, white gas, and the dynamite.
They hit that thing with .50 incindiaries right off the mark. It was a Hollywood event. HUGE fireball and black mushroom cloud with piecies floating in the air 1000' or more above the ground.
We had RC planes to shoot at too. Lots of Tannerite and 1200' of firing line with some of the neatest guns you'll ever see.

Sounds like a great place... They said they will have a minigun out there... Not sure if they usually do....

Not in my experience. I know who's bringing it though. He said he is thinking about bringing a quad minigun! Holy mother of God!

I was too busy shooting to take any pics. It seemed like this shoot went really fast. Here are some pics taken by someone with more time and discipline than I. ;-)
Word of caution: These pics are copyrighted by Rocky Mountain Fifty Caliber Shooter's Association. They are for private viewing only. They may NOT be republished or used by the liberal gun-hating media or by anyone else without RMFCSA's permission. I have linked them here and have not uploaded them to the UT server. Late Saturday after most shooters were packed up, we set off some fuel-air reactive targets. There were model planes with glo-sticks and copious tracer fire on them as well:
