OK, I have an IMI Registered receiver that is a little tight with my .22 conversion bolt. The bolt fits just fine in other receivers, so its just this particuler receiver that is a bit tight.

What can I use to push out/stretch/bend the sides of the receiver a few thousandths?

I do not want to slim down the bolt as it fits just fine in my other receivers.

Thanks.

would that be the top or bottom of the reciever?
The top will be easy , Using a vise and turn it in reverse. Or slightly shiming it open using a wood block wedge.

Mine was too tight as well and would constantly choke on me. Instead of screwing up the receiver I simply filed off the rails of the bolt a few thousanths and polished it out. Now its smoooth

I second that... If it is only a little I would touch the bolt up... That is what I did with mine... But I only use it with one gun.... A little play in the others would not be bad... But don't get carried away...

BTW mine would stick at the back of the receiver so I touched up just the back of the bolt as needed...

Considering the price of a registered receiver, I would just buy another kit and trim down the bolt to fit the receiver. Just imagine how fun it would be to shoot 2 uzi's at once!
