Can you shoot hollow point ammo in a Vector UZI?

Thanks

Thanks

Are you talking a full auto or a semi???

In a full auto with the standard feed ramp they were having some jamming problems with the flat/hollow points. Then they had an option of the welded in semi ramp and the hollow points ran much better... But some said that hollow points ran well with the standard ramp.... I gues you have to get a sample and try with your gun....

I have fired 9mm:

Winchester siver tips 115

Winchester SXT's 147

Winchester 127+P+ (Post Talon's)

Golden Sabre 124+P

Speer Gold 124+P

Hydra Shok 124+P+

all with out any problems at all, out of my Semi Vector Uzi. So far as far as accuracy goes, it is pretty much a tie with the silver tips and the speer gold dots.

I have a Mini FA with semi ramps and it went through 100 like nothing.

My IMI "B" been eating whatever I feed it the past 17yr.

Same for 45acp, IPSC range pick-ups, RN, SWC, TC, HP.

My F/A Vector Uzi will not feed hollow points. I have tried several brands.

MuzzleFlash,

What about having a semi feed ramp installed? I see on my SA vector, that it is welded in place, would it be very difficult to have a semi ramp installed?

My concern is how that would affect my .22 kit.

A friend has a Group Uzi without the heat treated receiver. His will eat anything. I suspect the problem is barrel and/or trunion alignment. I need a high sight too.

I may just use his as a reference and see what if anything can be done. Or I could send it back to Vector.

IIRC Vector was charging $30?? To install a semi ramp. It has been a while since I have heard the price... Problem is the 22 barrel would need to be turned down to fit with the semi ramp...

Are the Hollow points jamming at the top or the bottom of the barrel??? Or just causing general grief???
