....is it the barrel restrictor ring, and un-relieved triunion? Is there anything else? If this is all that there is, does this then make any bolt relieved to fit over the restrictor ring a MG?

My curiosity has to do with my near term ownership of a RR Micro (converted Uzi pistol), and possible future ownership of a SBR semi-auto Vector Mini Uzi.

I should note that I already posses full auto RR Full Size and Mini Uzis (both made by Vector)

It will be the feets on the Bolt for an open bolt F/A.

A F/A Mini without the slots on the trunion may need to be a Closed bolt . As you cant slot the Trunion.

I am not really following all the responses. My issue is in potentially having both full auto and semi-auto weapons along with having a (or several) bolts for my Micro (full auto) that may or may not have feet and would be milled out to fit over the restrictor ring. Thoughts?

I don't think you will have any problem... Unless you are into swapping parts... If you have a legit use for the parts you won't have a problem... BTW You also would need to swap lowers to make a f/a bolt work....

For FA closed bolt, a factory IMI FA closed bolt assembly will drop right into a semi MINI UZI or UZI Pistol respectively.
They will both go over the restrictor ring w/ no mods.
In Open bolt, the ring will get in the way as well as the trunion for a bolt w/ feet for a factory IMI OPEN bolt for the MINI.
There is no such thing as a factory IMI OPEN bolt MICRO but if you did try to put an open bolt in a UZI Pistol/MICRO then you would run into the same issues as with the MINI, the ring and the trunion.
Note that a Group Industries MINI OPEN bolt is clearanced to go over the ring but still has feet.
Also note that the FA lower on a MINI is using the 8mm trigger group lug pin while the semi uses a 9mm diameter pin.
On the UZI Pistol and MICRO SMG, they both use a 9mm diameter pin.
