Valmet and Galil is similar is almost every way but the name.
The pic looks like 223 Galil AR w/o bayo lug , prehaps even a semi auto.
Did they even chamber a 7.62x39?

Many South American countries build HK IMI ect under lic for their military, police, ect...This thing could be a Galil in 7.62x39...Would be my guess

The Israelis sold tons weaponry to south America for ages so it has good image there, why is it so strange to see a south African made Israeli weapon in a Latin American country? many nation didn’t not adapt American 308 and later 556 weapons but preferred have Russian 762x39 as standard.(Disagreements with Washington and the fact that they government come to powered after revolutions that are sometimes Defeated Washington back government)
“The dude has his finger on the trigger” don’t be shocked these Muppets are not exactly trained to latest standards, to me it looks like Venezuela all these “soldiers” are good fore is arresting the apositions families and shooting at crowds of starving unemployed country man but that’s my own opinion you don’t have to share it
:D

Ps why is he the only man with a weapon and the other stogies are only armed with wake take :thinking

Unmodified, 7.62x39 AK mags fit into .223 Galil mags wells just as nicely as regular Galil mags. I would say the SAR pictured at the top is actually a .223 (5.56) and they just put an AK mag in it for show / safety reasons. To me, this looks like an op-ed or recruiting photo from somewhere in South America (Columbia, maybe...).
