Has anyone had any experience with the 40 Round Argentina Mags?
Thank you,

A number of people here use them. In general they work pretty well. There are two things to watch out for. First, some of them are VERY tight in the UZI mag well. Be sure to buy from a vendor that will swap them out if you get some that are too tight.
Second, the mag stops are lower then they should be for an UZI. (The mags were not originally made for the UZI.) As a result, the mags can be inserted too far and can drag on the bottom of the bolt. Just remember to pull down on the mag after you insert it and they usually work fine.
Rover Dave pretty much summed it up.
Get them from Vector so when one or more won't fit into your mag well, they'll exchange them.
I have half a dozen of them and rarely use them. All I shoot anymore are the 25-rounders. They're cheap, hold exactly half a box of ammo and are what the uzi was designed to use.

I have used them and they work great... But the catch is a little low....
On a full auto...one thing to be careful of.... It you put them in the gun with the bolt back they tend to stop the bolt..... DANGER do no pull the mag out without reseting the bolt.... If you don't as soon as the mag is slightly free the bolt will slam the round home a fire it..... Yes it has happened to me.... Better to put the mag in when the bolt is forward....

Right after I gave a new guy the briefing at the range about gun safety... Always keep the barrel down or down range... My stepfather pulled the trigger and it went click... I turned to tell him don't pull out the.... And the gun went off.... He pulled out the mag....At least he listened to keep it pointed down range....
BTW I measure and the slot seems to be cut about .020 low.(IIRC) Whenever I get some extra time I was going to dremel it out a little higher and see how it works... Should take care of the problem.
