I finally got a change to fire my Howco FNC with the 16" uppr.

Out of the box it had issues, but after a few mags it seems as if the burrs were smoothed out and it ran like a raped ape.

What is the rate of fire on a FNC with a sear. It seemed much faster than my M-16 with and 11" uppr, but I didn't have a timer to check. Was this just my imagination or is the gun that fast?

Shoots like an AK. Much slower.

Mine seems to shoot fairly slow as well. But then again that is compared to a M10/9.

Seems to be MAC > FNC > Uzi/Greasegun

My FNCs ROF is about 600-650rpm

I wonder why my gun seems so fast?

I guess I need to get the timer and see what it's doing.

Are you running it with a buffer on the recoil spring assembly? I'm thinking that might speed it up, ala MACJACK. I don't have a buffer in mine and it doesn't seem to shoot too terribly fast.

No buffer.

This is just the standard Howco 16" folder.
