Here are some pics of my Micro Galil built on an IMI receiver by ORF. I started this project about 3 years ago with wtb ads placed on various gunboards and these are the results. My only regret is not knowing ORF was going to produce Micro receivers and so for now I'm stuck with a regular Galil folding stock instead of the true MAR version. I would like to know what sling to use with it so any suggestions are appreciated.

How loud is your Micro?

Would you characterize it as twice as loud as an ARM or SAR?

I love how compact it is.

35 rounds of fury in a sleek, sexy, compact package.

Live can be soooo good sometimes. :D

Thanks for the comments people. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and I really can't compare it to a SAR or ARM because this is my first Galil. I'll definitely let you know how it shoots.

BTW Elliot308, you bring up a good point with the term "sporter". The look on Fineswines face would be priceless, lol.

Nope, it's the standard charging handle on the newer versions of the Micro. It was developed because using optics would get in the way of the user and so the Navy version was created to overcome this. It is a definite improvement over the right side handle and it makes charging the rifle so much easier.

Hello, your micro galil look great. I like this gun... Here is a picture from my micro galil. It's not a new one, it's one of the first 10 manufactured in 1992. I just added a c-more the tactical handgrip with the surefire integrated and the pistol grip.

now i'm searching for one mag adapter to use the m16 mags i need the adaptator for use with a BETA C-MAG from my M16.

If anybody have some links or adress to find parts don't hesitate to keep me informed.

sorry for my english (speaking french)
