Snuck out to the range yesterday morning while the wife was still sleeping.
This was my chance to zero the aimpoint clone on my Norinco 320 using the m60joe modified topcover.
I put 140 rounds through my Norinco with zero problems. The aimpoint clone worked great. After zeroing at 100 yards, I moved to the pistol range, where my club has swinging steel plates at about 40 and 80 yards. The plates are 10 inches. Hitting these plates with the red dot was childs play. I ripped through a thirty round mag working the plates from closer to farther and was hitting them with every shot, firing as fast as I could place the dot on target.
What a fun day at the range! The weather here in Ohio was spring-like. Mid-60's and sunny. I was surprised that I had the range to myself.
Anyway, thumbs up to the m60joe topcover, and thumbs up to the aimpoint clone. It has to be the best $50 red dot available.

I agree, I use one made in Hong Kong. Works great.

Can you give me a link or info on who has that EXACT aimpoint clone for sale? There are a lot of cheap red dot clones out there and it sounds like that is one of the better ones. Your set up sounds like exactly what I want to do with my gun.

I discussed that in my review of the m60joe mount in the review section--there are a couple pics there as well. EBAY seller "jackyiscxd" has a store called 1377 Tactical. Do a search on EBAY. If you just do a general search for aimpoint clone, you'll probably find him.

I have used one of his aimpoint clones on my AR for about a year now with no problems at all.
