Talked with Vector about a month ago about having a stock & backplate welded on my converted FA Uzi pistol, and they say no problem. And it is no problem, except I found out today, the parts they are using are not original IMI parts. Which is probably OK, except that I would prefer to use original parts. The gun is a bit rare to begin with. It's a original Fleming sear conversion Micro Uzi. Not too many of them around. So I don't want to take a chance of messing it up with aftermarket parts. Anybody know of somewhere or someone who may have some original Micro Uzi backplates & Stocks? I appreciate your help!!!

Does bendavid25 know of a source in the UZI Motherland?

I had vector install one...
they didn't have a micro stock but used a modified mini uzi stock.
Same length after all was said and done, just didn't have the covering over the cheek piece and the shoulder piece was from a mini uzi.
also had the bayo lug and sling swivel installed.
I was very pleased.

Could you post a few pics of your gun and their work please?

Thanks,

Nice rigs. Dude where did you get the extra long micro barrel? I've been looking for a longer (not that long) Micro barrel forever. I have to have one.:tongue

I will call IMI tomorrow on the Micro stocks.

had member barrelxchange make it so vector could do the mods without it being registered as an SBR. About 10" or so is barrel and the rest is a welded sleeve to comply with our ignernt gun length laws.

Thanks tacdrivrnc!!

Looks like they did a great job!! I really didn't want to do an aftermarket stock, but unless you really know your Uzi's you can't tell the difference. I definitely need a stock. Went shooting at the range today. I hit the ceiling, and the two other guys that shot this gun did the same!!! Not very controllable without a stock. I'm going to send it to Rex at Vector this week. Thanks for helping me make the decision!

That would be great Bendavid25. Post a response after you know. I'll hold up on sending this to Vector for a few days. Thanks, M1A....

While you have them on the phone, ask them about mini stocks with the plastic covering on the strut.
