Anyone know where a guy can get some reasonably priced 32 rd mags? Vector has 'em for $35 but that seems a little steep. Anyone know of a better deal??

There are a ton of surplus mags from Germany on the gun auction sites. They are all 32rd, 9mm and OD parkerized. Some have never been used and some have but are still good mags. They are averaging about $20 apiece for a single mag. IMHO you should buy as many as you can possibly afford + 1.

Hope those who wanted them got their order in at Cheaperthandirt for the 3 32 round mags in a pouch.......I ordered 6, and was going to order a few more for a friend and they've raised the price from about $35 to about $45. For a minute there I thought I was at Sportsmansguide........:-(

"For a minute there I thought I was at Sportsmansguide........:-("
****************************

I think the Sportsmansguide disease has spread.

Very bad news if this becomes an acceptable practice in the industry.

This all started when some French company took over Sportsmansguide.

Sportsmansguide does this regularly now. SG will advertise a product at one price and then change the price on you AFTER you order it. Sometimes months after, but, before delivery.

They just advertised some ammo for about $59.00/400 rounds and then changed the price to about $100/400 rounds a few days later. Even for the people that placed their orders several days prior.

It appears that if a product is selling 'too well', they will just change the price. Even on orders placed months before.

Yup.....I saw that in the Ammo forum over at Gunboards......SG upped the price on 8mm 70's Yugo about $30 a case, but seem to be honoring the origional price...then they did the same thing with that Indian .308 from the 70's, but now they're trying to stick people with the new higher price even after they ordered at the older price...of course it's all on back order....and people swear SG is going to give you 50's Yugo 8mm instead of the better 70's so we'll see.

I think SG and CTD aren't sure what to set some of their prices at so when they see orders for something sky rocket thay have an automated program that raises the price........am I being paranoid?

I have seen them do this with .223, 7.62 x 39, .308, 8mm...

IMO these are sleazy boilier room techniques that are becoming inreasingly more hard ball.

They cause you enough grief and you will give up in frustration. Or just get to busy too notice the upcharging.

Then it gets really tough to spend all the time with a credit card dispute.

It's a bait-and-switch scheme. Nothing more.

The pricing scheme is all intentional. If there are computers involved...THEY program the computers.

This is like the guy that couldn't sell his UZI pistol .45 bolts. Until I posted a link to them. Then there was a sudden surge of business from UziTalk members and so he raised his prices.

I hope SG either changes it's ways or goes broke.

This is so...so...FRENCH of them!

I was going to order some mags from Cheaper Than Dirt when I saw what they charged for shipping. I don't remember what it was now but it was the same for one mag, two mags, three mags, four mags, etc. It pisses me off when someone feels they can offer something that is cheaper but raises the shipping to compesate for it. I would rather deal with members on this board when I can. If a company gives us a discount as Uzitalk members then I am OK with that.

Don't tell me CTD is starting to do this, I just paid $30 for a year membership to their club. I haven't had the same trouble with them that I had with SG.

Got mine this morning, 6 sets, both the pouches and some of the mags are dirty and worn but everything is serviceable.......a nice compact package.

If you have autographed magazines you should be donating them in the 'Freebies' section. I am sure they would be a big hit.
