Does a Micro-Uzi stock fit on a Mini-Uzi without any modifications? Will it get in the way of anything? What is the going rate for a Micro stock?

I don't know if it fits or not, but it wasn't made for that. Karl.

Go here, http://www.c3junkie.com/ ,click on UZI Information, then click on Nice IMI Uzi Close Ups. Good quality pics of the stock(s) and mount(s).
Looks like the same mounting set up to me.

In addition to my site, check out:
The israeli special forces website

The picture below shows a MICRO with a MINI stock. You would think that you could put a Micro on a MINI then you could do vice versa.

Yeh, it looks like IMI used the same mounting setup. I want to use it because my girlfriend is only 4' 11" and the mini stock won't let her properly shouldering the weapon. The micro stock I beleive is about an 1 1/2" shorter and this could make a difference. I found a micro stock for $125 but I don't know if this is a good price. I've tried the email addresses for Vector that I found through out the threads but they won't respond to my emails.

I think the price is not bad and not great either - a fair price. They had some at the last Knob Creek but I didn't price them as I wasn't interested in them at the time.
I think it is better to call Vector than email them.
They will most likely charge you more for that stock but you never know.

I don't think the Micro stocks are real common so I wouldn't wait too long to jump on it if you really want it. You should call Vector first to see if they have any and what they charge.
By the way, if anyone is interested in the Mini/Mico sling that is pictured above, Vector sells them. They are original IMI slings like the one above except they are all black.

Vector returned my email this morning and said the micro stock will NOT fit the mini uzi. I personaly don't see why not but I'm sure they have tried. I guess the pics that I've seen around where stocks have bine swoped are probably custom jobs by IMI. With a little customizing of my own I'm sure I could get one to fit.

I called Vector to see why the micro stock wouldn't fit on the mini-uzi and Rex said it would. So I bought a new micro stock with all the hardware for $100 shipped, not from Vector they wanted $225. I figured it was a good deal. We'll see how it fits.

Be sure to take pics and post them in the Gunsmithing forum or the UZI pics forum. I can help with hosting if needed. I can host one or two for the gunsmithing forum. Karl.

Will do Karl. dose anybody know how to take the mini-stock off? I think it will make the mini look much cooler. The micro stocks look like they are built better even though the mini stock is very strong.

You know what? A stupid thought just came to mind. Are you doing this to an FA gun or an SA gun. Cuz, of course, the SA needs that length provided by the stock to meet the minimum length requirements under federal law. Just a thought. Karl.

Oh, and doesn't the mini stock come off by removing a nut just like the full size? Karl.

No, the MINI stock is removed by compressing the stock's spring then removing an e-clip.
Gee Karl, I thought you would have been the first to look at the MINI Uzi pics that you took from my site in the reference section.

Good, just don't want any of our friends getting in trouble because we lead them to believe something that was illegal was anything but. You SA owners, keep those mini stocks in tact. Karl.

Got my micro stock today! It looks a lot more meaty than the mini stock. It has a rubber sleave over the entire length of the shaft. I think it will look a lot better than the mini stock but it seams shorter than I thought it would be. We'll see how it fits when I get my mini in a few months.

The stock on my micro is really short! I can see why some folks have put mini stocks on. I wouldn't put a micro stock on a mini, but maybe a mini on a micro. I'm leaving mine alone for now.

The reason for changing the stock is for my girlfriend. She is really petite, 4' 11" and 85lbs.
