Is the buffer shortened as you would for a SMG? Question was asked on subguns board.

Any ramifications in shortening the semi buffer in a semi gun or does it just slow it without any potential damage?

Thanks
Tom...non owner of semi Uzis

You can slow the rate of fire on a semi by not pulling the trigger so quickly....

Are you talking about a real semi or a semi that was converted to FA?

Good One Rover!

Yes- He is referring to a FA using a converted semi bolt firing from a closed bolt. At least that is what i saw on Subguns.

I'd try adding weight to the bolt, lightening the spring, cutting the buffer, using lighter ammo, ??? Karl.
