Is it possible to mount a sling swivel on the rear of the folding stock? I use a tactical sling and currently loop the sling inside the back part of the stock. I can still close the stock no problem. Trouble is the sling binds up when I open the stock because the back point is fixed.

Is there some kind of sling swivel that will allow me to screw it in the thin metal stock after I drill and tap it? Maybe even a nut and bolt type attachment too would work and would probably be more preferable. I checked Brownells and really couldn't find what I wanted, especially because most are for wood. If I could get something that has a long enough machine screw stud that would let me put a nut/bolt/washers on it, that would be SWEET.

If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it.

and replace the rivet with a parkerized machine screw and stopnut? Figure out the most non interfering place on the butt to mount it and drill a hole. The wood stocks have a swivel like the front.

Just get any swivel made for the machine screw and get a longer screw from a hardware store. Western Fasteners makes every kind of screrw imagineable in a black finish. Karl.
