Just bought a 320 model Norinco for $499 at my local shop.
It has a reprehensible thing called a buttstock.
I already ordered a folder from CDNN to replace that monstrosity.

I'm well versed on 922r and v and have built compliant AK's.

Folder will be fixed open.

My question is which parts would be the cheapest to swap out and where to get them from.
It's my understanding 5 US parts are needed, I've got two lined up.I'd appreciate you guys filling in the last 2.
I may thread the barrel eventually and permanantly install a sleeved flashhider or brake but that will be US made.

1) &
2) PG and handguard set from d&d
3) Recoil Spring from D& D
4) ?
5) ?

TIA. First UZI.

OK I think I got it...Just ordered some 25 and 32 round USA mags....Do they suck as bad for the uzi as they do with AR mags??

The bad news is, yeah, the USA mags suck.

The good news is, the problem is in the mag bodies -- so you may be able to use the USA mag springs and floorplates (in IMI mag bodies) as two more US-made components.

Cool. That will work. Thanks.

I don't believe springs count against 922. IIRC the three compliant parts are mag body, floorplate and follower.

Yup, and you don't want those POS USA springs anyway. Oh, and you need 6 US made parts. The law says not more than 10 imported parts. UZIs have a total of 16 parts. The parts list is in the reference area. Karl.

Thanks, guys. I stand corrected. (Sure glad we don't have to go through that imported vs. domestic BS with NFA toys!)

If you want to use IMI mag bodies yu will have to buy a US made barrel.
