View Full Version : WHAT PARTS DO I NEED FOR THIS RISING?

I bought three machine guns two of them have a problems, one is the Reising it will not fire canNOT even get the firing pin to hit the primer.

Anyone can help me let me know what parts am I missing and what year of this one was made? Here are the pictures.

Is the firing pin in the bolt?

I don't see the bolt, is it in the gun?
Do you have a manual to take the gun apart?(field strip)
It's a fairly early gun, going by the S/N. 1941/42?
I'll check Frank's book when I get home.
How about some more photos of whats there.

I did ordered a manual from E-Bay, did not have it yet. I belive firing pin inside the bolt I cannot take it a part until I got the book. I just unscrew the back and took hammer, spring and spring guide out, it will not function when I took it to the range. This inside look different from the picture on Numerich gun catalog I have purchased.

Got the book, took everything a parts clean most of the parts, put them back together went to the range last Sunday, put 500 rounds through her, she ran flowlesly and fun to shoot.

Thank you for all the inputs, my Reising now working perfect, it was my hammer spring broken, it work great after I have replaced it. The one I have it a solid steel, replacement it hollow.

I am plan to go to MG shoot at Cheyne Well in CO with Muzzleflash but my best employee had a stoke and heart attack cannot find any body I can trust to watch my store while I am gone. I missed a lot of fun this year.
