Just curious. The reciever on the one I just got seems well done, fairly well finished, and the weld seems solid. I don't plan on shooting any +p out of it. Just curious, not worried.
Oh, and anyone get the package deal from centerfire systems recently? If so what was your wait to get it? Weeks? Months? I am interested in it, as it seems like a good deal......Just don't want to wait forever....

I haven't heard of problems with the back of Norinco receivers coming off. Where have you heard that?
The centerfire systems package is a good deal, but they are a pain in the ass company and wait times are sometimes very long. A friend of mine just got his UZI package after 1-2 months wait.

My wood kit came in a week. Unfortunately they sent me a folder....The mags were killer though!

so its a grab bag for times, huh? Oh boy.....Well, if I have to wait I guess I will. I'll have to call them, but do they have them in stock right now? Or are they back ordering them? Seems odd if they have something in stock, to wait that long....I'll put it on my debt card, and go from their. I ordered a front site for my .45 months ago from Auto Ordnance, and after a month I left a message on their machine saying I was going to contest the charge....They never called back, but it was at my house a few days later.
I had heard a while back about some norinco (?) blowing the back of the reciever off? Maybe from a bad weld? Or maybe it was a .45 norinco? Not sure, so I thought I'd ask. I figured if anyone would now, it would be here! Like I said, mine seems very well put together. After oiling the bolt group, the action smoothed up VERY well. I cannot describe how excited I am about this gun....I just never figured I'd have one. Going to shoot it today, see how she runs.

Probably from me, as I had a Norinco UZI with a B&G registered .45 ACP bolt in it.
The back peeled away from the receiver so I had the gunsmith hammer it back down and weld it.
I was surprised how good of a job he did.
The welds were dremilled down smooth and was an unoticeable fix.
The gun ran great after but then I sold it like an idiot worrying when it would do it again.
I shouldve just bought an IMI UZI and kept the bolt and revert the Norinco back as a semi in 9mm.
I had one 30 round UZI magazine that was made from two 16 rounders and it worked 100%. I also had like 5/ 15 rounders that went with it and it sold for $2200 back in 2000. Dang it...
It did not sell for much because it was a bolt gun and was built around a Norinco.
