I just had my second .45 case shear clean off in my Resings chamber. Different ammunition manufacturer. I had just put her back together and run about 200 rounds through when it happened. As before there is a clean case separation leaving about 3/8" of the case stuck in the chamber.
I know how to get it out this time but does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this problem?

Seisings are bad about that. Get a Reising and you probably won't have the same prob.

Can you get a bore light in to look for imperfections in the chamber?
You might try to check the chamber with go/no-go gauges.
If the chamber is too short, or too deep it could be causing headspace problems with separation.
Also check for a build up of lead, or "crud" on the headspace surface of the chamber.
These are all I can think of at the moment.
