Any of you guys run aluminum-cased Blazer through your Uzis? Everyday price for the 115 gr 50-rd box is $3.99 at Academy. With tax, it's about $88/k. Shoots fine in my Glock but I'm wondering how it fares in a SMG. Thanks!

It is the only thing I use. Several thousand rounds, no problems.

Runs fine in my Vector.

After seeing this post I decided to find prices for Blazer ammunition and found this page which I thought was interesting. It warns about using Blazer ammunition in open-blot guns.

I'm going to drop a note to CCI/Speer and see what they say.

One anecdotal story does not make a factual problem. I would check the headpace and of the barrel as well as the quality of the bolt, before I jumped to the conclusion it was the ammo.

Straight from the horse's mouth...

Kyle: we do not recommend the use of Blazer in the open-bolt semi's or
auto's, we have found that bolt movement can cause an unsupported case, due
to bolt movement after firing.

One time and only one time I used the 9MM aluminum case ammo
from blazer and the rear of the casing ripped off and left the rest in the chamber. I was not pleased with this ammo ,I emptied the mags of that stuff and never used it again.
