Well, I broke down and ponied up the $138.00 plus shipping for the IMI black plastic stock last week and used it today for the first time. It's slightly heavier than the wooden one it replaced, but the main thing is IT LOOKS GREAT! The scores from today's match haven't been posted yet, but I'll give credit to the new stock AND Amphibian's extended mag release for doing as well as I think I did. I came home with a blue ribbon in the team event, so I've got something to show for the money invested in my new accessories. This was the first time I've used the extended mag release in a match, and it's WONDERFUL! Thanks again Amphibian!

I was thinking it looked like a three lug barrel.

The barrel is 8.5 (I think), and came from RPB. It's threaded 3/4X10 so I could use the Bowers CAC9 suppressor I already owned for my M11/9. The cost was $85.00, and it works and feeds like a champ. I think somebody has stated he has an identical one he bought from Bushmaster.

Forgot to ad that you're probably seeing the Teflon tape wrapped around the threads to keep the can on tight.

Wow! That 40-round mag actually makes the fixed stock & foregrip look proportional to the gun. I always thought both accessories looked a bit bulky for the Uzi frame. Now I have to go ahead and order the QD stock :D:D
