I purchased a M16 thread (1/2-28) 9.5" barrel/thread protector/muzzle break combo off of ebay the other day. Took it to the range on Thursday and tried it out. First off, this barrel is setup for model A or B semi-auto UZI's (it is cut down in the chamber area). My full-size is a converted model A that has not had the trunion or the semi ring cut out so this barrel was a tight drop-in for me. It ran great in full and semi auto. I ran a total of about 250 rounds through it. The stubby barrel looks nifty on a full size. Makes it look much meaner! The group sizes were fine. Same as I was getting with my cut down chrome lined SMG barrel. The muzzle break did seem to keep the weapon just a little more stable in full-auto, but I've never had problems with my UZI walking all over anyway. Did make the weapon alot louder with the break on though. I shot the UZI with and without my Coastal suppressor on with the short barrel in and had no problems. Overall I would recomend one of these, but it was a little salty ($130 with the thread protector and the break). It was listed as a "match" barrel but I wouldn't know how much that will help an open bolt subgun! I will post pics of the gun with the "FBI" barrel on it this weekend. It really does look cool!

Can't wait to see those pics with it on the gun! The short barrel with a brake makes the uzi front end look so much proportional.

I think a 20 rounder looks pretty cool with the short barrel!

Here it is with the muzzle break on it. Also, Amphib, you have my permission to use these pics if you want.

I finally found out that this barrel is made by Federal Arms. Just thought I would pass this along.
