How is a Blackjack buffer installed on a Vector FA FS Uzi? Does the buffer go behind the recoil spring assembly buffer and sit behind the original buffer and rear of the receiver? What is the rof with a .75" buffer?

Put it in front of the original buffer.

I don't have the exact ROF (I did measure it at one time) I think the ROF was 6 or 700. Noticeably nicer than the stock ROF.

I asked the exact same question to blackjack 3 days ago....here is their answer. Rate of fire is on their website

"Nothing printed. These buffers are for the most part spacers that fit in front of the spring base and original buffer (if still present) and are slid over the recoil spring assembly with the notch for the stock bolt facing the rear. The recoil spring will need to be removed to install the buffer."

I had one installed on my UZI. But it got a little too fast. So I cut off about 3/4 inch. That was much better then.

huh.

I put mine behind the stock buffer...they all work great.

There is plenty of room for the rod to move forward in the receiver.

I cut down a semi-auto buffer to about .75" and removed that original thin buffer attached to the recoil spring assembly. The RPM's are very nice around 750 or so. With a regular semi buffer the RPM's shoot up to about 1,000 or so which is fun to do every once in a while. But i like the .75" buffer the best.

The BJ Buffers are supposed to goin front of the factory buffer. They install in seconds. I have an old semi buffer ground down to about .75 that came with my gun and it goes behind the factory buffer. It's also a PIA to get out. I have to get it out with needle nose pliers. It works as good though, just not fast to change is all.
