I had the same problem.

But I put a wood stock on and have not looked back.

Well, a while back there was a thread referring to a place selling a bracket to mount one of the ubiquitous CAR-15 collapsible stocks on the full size Uzi. The CAR-15 stock should give you plenty of adjustment; however, the longitudinal package will be longer than with the standard folding stock.

I did not capture the name/URL of the vendor. Perhaps another board member can assist.

Congratulations on your acquisition of an Uzi. They are fine firearms regardless of the make, model, or caliber.

Best of luck whatever you decide to pursue.

You should be able to cut down a rubber extension for a shotgun butstock and bolt it on fairly easily. What are they like $10 bucks now? Should give you a good inch or so.

I use to do it with the AK (those stocks are made for midgets). Not that there is anything wrong with being a midget:allright
