I just checked out this new listing and cant tell if the receiver is homemade,a original Mini uzi receiver or a professional cut and weld. I dont have the auction number but it is a featured auction and might make someone a nice addition. However, the owner says it is registered as a pistol,so my options here in Michigan are limited for a Mini uzi carbine.:overkill

It looks like a full size GI that was cut down and rewelded into a mini.

if that is the case, then I wonder if it will even run right. The owner never built it so how would he know.

He mentions it's been listed as a pistol from the beginning so it would have to be built into a pistol unless you SBR it.

It may have been made by Vector as they also make minis from a full size GI receiver but I think they grind off the two small lines in the rear on the sides now but may have left them on in earlier ones but not positive about that. Also I think Vector cuts off the back of the pistol grip lower attachment that gets welded in.
A pistol can be made into a rifle without sbr. But once a rifle always a rifle

You can make a pistol into a rifle (at least on the federal level), and change it back to a pistol. See also US vs. Thompson Center/Contender.

HEY, THE MINI RECEIVER IS MINE. I HAVE IT LISTED ON GUNBROKER. THE RECEIVER IS REGISTURED AS A PISTOL. YOU CAN EITHER BUILD IT INTO A PISTOL, OR A RIFFLE. BUT ONCE YOU BUILD IT AS A RIFFLE, IT CANNOT GO BACK TO A PISTOL. THIS IS A GROUP INDUSTRY RECEIVER. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A HOMEMADE JOB. IF IT WAS CUT AND REWELDED, IT WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL. BUT I REALLY COULDN'T ANSWER THAT QUESTION, BECAUSE THIS IS HOW I BOUGHT IT. I AM SELLING IT BECAUSE OF THE TROUBLE I FOUND ON GETTING THE FRONT HANDGRIPS. AND THE EXPENSE OF OTHER PARTS. I HAVE FOUR FULL SIZE AND DON'T REALLY NEED THIS ONE.

THANKS CAPTRED

There were no Mini UZI Group receivers so it's a cut down full size receiver. Vector makes full and and semi-auto Mini UZI's that way so it's not a big deal IF it's done right.
