pre fireing on a partly open bolt

was wondering in my norinco 9mm uzi is sussposed to fire on a partly open bolt. It doesn't do it all the time. just wondering and learning. Thank You. one of your newest members.

Kenneth. welcome to UZI Talk. Your Uzi shouldn't do that. Just like the IMI Model B, the Norinco has a striker safety on the back of the bolt that should prevent the striker from coming all the way forward unless the bolt is closed, so I'm surprised this could happen.

Just how far open is the bolt when this occurs? You also need to figure out what is causing the bolt not to go all the way forward before you fire it.
