I never saw anything on this. Can someone post how to take a part and re-assemble a full auto bolt? I'm trying my luck with lead and tungsten inserts to slow the cyclic rate a little.

There is only 2 removable parts on a full auto bolt----
the extractor retaining pin, it simply push' out, and the extractor, push it out..... If you want to count the recoil spring/rod assembly, thats 3, but that part is too easy to remove.

Hello Kruuth
What are you going to do with lead and tungsten inserts to slow the ROF?
Funker.

IMI did some Tungsten MINI bolts but I have never seen one.
I ended up doing one of my MINI bolts and used Elkonite which is a heavy copper tungsten blend.
I can get singles out of my MINI now about 80% of the time. I want to get it slow for SMG competitions.
Yes, I did mine so that the extractor retaining pin holds the weight in place. So I can remove the weight and make it a "fast" bolt instantly.
There is another guy in FL that did his MINI w/ Tungsten and has his weight going longitudinally but I haven't seen it personally.
Slow the cyclic rate of an uzi? Why?

Amphibian, can you give me some details about how you hollowed out your bolt? I was thinking about doing this to my full size .45 bolt so I could use it for a .40 Super or 10mm. I wanted more mass so I don’t beat my receiver to heck and I also wanted to keep the RPM down.
