I cut my buffer block down to 1.425" and it was too long. I just ran it on a belt sander then popped it back in and it was fine. Man I put that thing in and it was like hitting nitrous on a sports car, what a rush. The higher ROF definately adds a higher coolness/excitement factor to it.

I can't forget to mention that while I was shooting at the range, 3 really hot 21 year old cute, supple and firm girls walked in with a rented .22 and asked what we were shooting. Of course I had to let all 3 do mag dumps. Two of them had never shot a gun before, their first gun was a full auto UZI. I broke their cherry what can I say? They all posed for pictures holding the gun with their digital camera. One of em even took an mpeg movie. They thanked us and left. Stupid me didn't think to give them my email so they could send me the the pics and movies until AFTER they left. I have no evidence sorry. I did get harassed by the range owner for trying to pick up chicks at the range. I think he was just jealous.

BTW I ended up selling my cut buffer to a range employee before I left, good thing I have another uncut.

Dustin- Are you sure that range was ventilated properly? It sounds like you inhaled way too much of something!

Dustin -- you need to quit shooting that surplus Columbian ammo, the fumes are affecting your brain.
