I have a registered receiver Vector SMG. My form 4 shows 3 calibers on it; 9mm, .22LR, and .45ACP.
Does this mean that I am limited to only those 3 calibers because that's what is registered on the Form4? Or Since it is a registered receiver, could I change it for any caliber?
Thanks in advance !

Buckaroo, the ATF doesn't have a problem with "temporary" changes to calibers. Going out the to range for a day and dropping in a different barrel and bolt isn't a problem, just like temporarily putting on a different caliber upper on an M16. If you plan on making a permenant change to caliber or barrel length, you should notify the ATF to get your form 4 ammended.

Cool...... Thanks for the quick response.
So now the obvious question....
Where can I get the conversion kits? I know Vector has the .22 and .45 kits, but I've seen a lot of people talk about .40SW, 10mm, .41 AE, etc.etc.
Where do you get these?

UZI Talk members barrelxchange and Top Cat have offered caliber conversions in the past. I haven't heard from Top Cat in a while so I'm not sure if he's still doing it. Contact one or both of them. .357 Sig and .40S&W have been the most popular. There's been talk about 10mm but not sure if anyone has actually done it.
IMI did original .41 AE conversions for the semi UZI. The nice thing about the .41 AE is that it uses the standard 9mm bolt. Even if you got a .41 AE barrel for a full auto, the ammo is still way too expensive so few people really look into that option.
It's hard to beat the .45 or .22 conversions. I'd definitely consider those.

Troy has the 40, 357 SIG and 10mm. I shot the 357 and 10mm at this last bulletfest.

Give me a call. 847-609-4811, All the conversions require a specially modified bolt, But once you have the modified bolt in your gun you can still shoot 9mm and just change barrels for the other cailbers
The 40S&W and 357SIG can use standard 9mm mags, If you want 357SIG I highly recommend a new recoil spring, 10mm can be done with 45/41AE mags with a little tweeking or get 1 of Chris Humphries Grease Gun magwell conversions

I have been trying to rid the world of surplus ammo for some time now.my vector has 10k plus of .22,357sig,40s&w, 9mm and 45 .now with Chris H. grease gun lower I have been burning up the 40s&w ,45 and even 357 sig works good .Troy has the bolt and barrel you need. if you want a 41ae mag ?I have a few more nib left.Chris's gg lower is great !I like his lower better than the uzi !without the safety?
