CCW UZI Holster...

I know I have seen a few threads on the UZI CCW Holsters in the past but I am curious if anybody can comment on just how awkward these are? I am also curious if anybody has seen the one Vector is now selling on their website....

Now, I don't think I would really want to cary my FA Vector CCW but it might be a cool addition to my collection of UZI stuff...

I've heard good things about them. That's the well known DeSantis style shoulder rig. They are also being offered by Ivan Shapiro's Maine Tactical Supply:

I have a Holsters International rig for my Mini UZI and I can tell you they get pretty heavy after a while. I can't imagine having a full size UZI hang from a rig all day long. I love having the rig but I think they are best used for shorter durations.

I carry my UZI pistol all day with ease in a custom shoulder rig made of nylon. The holster is simply an enlarged holster you would use on say a normal 4" revolver. Mags hang on the weak side and add balance, suprisingly comfy !!

Go figure. Thanks to a certain idiot C3 dealer in this state leaving a Glock 18 in his truck which was stolen, we now have the same situation here.

Yea, one must question the logic of anybody walking around with a MG as a CCW as god knows most any MG owner is a pro-gun type of person that knows what the liberal media would do with something like a story of someone whipping out their CCW UZI (or other MG) and mowing down somebody....

Oh waite, the media already says that is what we do with our UZIs...:(

I have an original and I never use the tie down for the barrel on the belt. It's a lot of weight to tote, and usually I just wear for effect at gun shows.

As for the Glock in the truck problem if someone was going to steal and gun and use in a crime a Glock 18 would be great as the kill ratio of an untrained operator would be around zero.

Don't blame the victim who got his Glock stolen, blame the criminal.

Add to that the sensational effect on the CCW debate when someone on the anti-CCW side pointed out that "everyone could carry machine guns" in Colorado. We know that's BS, but the state sheriff's association then went negative on the bill until the senate sponsor added anti-MG language. We're lucky they didn't ban MGs in Colorado after that.
