I have a Weaver Mount that came with my Docter sight. The Docter has four little stakes, or posts, that index into the Weaver base. Does the Fastfire also have this pattern i.e., can the Docter bases be used with the Fastfire Sights? I plan on sticking a Fastfire on a 10/22 carbine and using the Weaver base if it does.
If not, I have a buyer for the Docter Weaver base mount. Merry Christmas UT'kers!

How about the Optima sights, What base are they compatable with?

The Tasco Optima's were made by the same company in the UK that currently makes the JP JPoint, Trijicon Reddot and the Firepoint(used to be imported by Brownells) which all used the same mount.
All of these optics are made out of plastic. The Pride Fowler optic is like a Docter in that it uses metal and glass and I "think" uses the same mounts as the Optima but not 100% sure.
