Im thinking of running a loop of paracord down through the opening of the pistol grip pin, that is located directly behind the fire selector. The loop will come out on the right side of the weapon and will serve as an attachment point for a small single point sling. A regular overhead knot will keep the paracord in place inside the pin on the other side.
Will this setup work without causing any kind of damage or problems that I'm not thinking of?
Thanks for the insight.

There is no better teacher than experience. try it and let the rest of us know if it works. =)

Please let us know. I am a lefty and have not spent a lot of time thinking about it but like to know if it works as it would be cheaper than what I thought of anyway. I thought of on the rear folding stop make another or take the sling loop thats welded in off of a beater stock and weld it to the right side. Drill two ols and spot weld them on the back sides. It would look natural. Something will have to be done for the front though and I would not know If I would waste my time coping the other side and be a long process. I figured maybe find a way to mount a loop to the side of handle or do a velcro strap like you do on ar15's around the forearm behind the front sight.

Sounds like it would work; just make sure your takedown pin is inserted from left to right. That way you will eliminate the chance of the knotted para-cord pulling the pin and involuntarily separating the lower from the upper. Could be dangerous if the weapon is ready to rock and roll.

so far it has worked like a charm. Obviously you have to make sure that the take down pin is inserted from left to right as quizkid points out or you could be in for big problems. Its actually pretty impressive how well the thing works, with the single point it now falls snug, tucked right up against my torso and doesn't move at all.
