Original Uzi earplugs??

I just bought one of the earlier Mini Uzi carbines imported into the country and it is absolutely complete and flawless except for........ earplugs??
The owner was a dealer back then and said that new Uzi's (new in the box) came with one set of earplugs just put loosely in the plastic box.
He said they were marked with black ink.
Can anyone shed any light on this as I have never heard this before.

And as usual..... I am looking to buy a set of these so called "original Uzi earplugs".
Can anyone help me out?

They're not perfect. They have Uzi Gal's ear wax on them. :lol

Just kidding. I wouldn't believe the ear plug story. At best it might have been a mistake that someone at Action Arms left a pair in a box, but I even doubt that. Action Arms had been selling UZIs for years before they started shipping the Mini UZI Carbine. It would make no sense for them to put ear plugs with the Mini UZI Carbine and nothing else.

Ok, so no Uzi's from Action Arms came with a set of factory placed earplugs.
If that's the case, I will be able to sleep tonight. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

firefighter, here's another thought. Action Arms sold through distributors. Maybe one of the distributors got in their first Mini UZI carbine and decided to put a few rounds through it before selling to the dealer. Just a guess but the gun passes through many hands between Israel and the initial owner so they could have come from a number of places.

Maybe two pieces of packing peanuts somehow made their way into the box of the UZI this dealer saw and he thought they were earplugs.
