Uzi operational case question

I was wandering somthing about the operational briefcase mentioned in the other thread.After looking at the pics of the case my question is-did these actually work? It does not look like there is enough room in the case for the empty shell casings to clear the gun.From what the picture shows it looks as if the empty's would bounce back into the ejection port-or is there a cut out in the opposing panel for the emptys to fall into?
