I don't have mine yet, so I have no idea. How hard is it to remove?
I was thinking about picking up a wood stock for the hell of it.
Thanks for the help!

On unloaded gun, remove top cover, bolt and buffer spring assembly then remove the allen head screw on the rear of the gun and the insert it threads into.

The piece the allen screw threads into is different for the wooden stock..Make sure your wooden stock comes with one.

If the gun you are putting the wooden stock on is a semi-auto then you have to make sure that it complies with state regulations. Most people have found that the stock must be "permanently" attached (meaning that it takes tools to remove it).
The parts needed to attach and good photos are in our library here.

Note: you won't go back to the folding stock once you shoot it with a wood stock.

I live in Oregon. I will have to check the legalities. Are the wood stocks quick detach?
I have shot both the folder and the wood and while the wood does feel better to shoot, there is something about the folder I like. It is also nice having it more compact and portable.
Are there different stocks for SA and FA? IIRC there was one I saw on vector that said FA only.
Thanks for the help!

The Q.D. stock and the "permanent" ones are identical. The only difference is the metal bracket attaching it to the receiver.

Gunut, I live in Southern Oregon and if you own a semi-UZI carbine and it has not been registered as a short barreled rifle (SBR), then the wood stock must be a fixed or permanent type. The folder is also OK. If you SBR your UZI, then you're good to go with just about any stock you want. Just remember. If you SBR your gun you specify as part of the paperwork the overall length and that length should not be less than that specified for the SBR. :patriot

Thanks for the info! I plan to SBR it by this summer. I will probably start looking for a suppressor as well :evilgrin
