I've got one of these 40 rounds mags and would love more. It's heavy duty (like an original IMI), parkerized finish, numbered 10,20,30,40 with a view hole at each count and it runs flawlessly. I've heard that it's original IMI and have heard that it's not. Anyone know?

Here's the icon stamped at the lower front of the mag - a bird of prey inside a triangle. No Star of David on the mag.

The "South African" dual cut 40 round mags that CDNN sells are definitely the Argentine mags. They are much thinner gauge metal than an ordinary IMI mag or this other 40 rounder I have. Apparently South Africa must have purchased a bunch of the Argentine mags and then cut them after the fact. You can tell the second cut was post manufacture.

The 25 round "S8" marked mags that DSA sells are of heavy material. I wonder if those are IMI mags made for some other government and thus stamped differently.
