Becoming a promoter

Hey all you dealers out there! I`m thinking about becoming a gunshow promoter. How hard is it to start up? Do I need a FFL?

I don't think you need a FFL, but I can tell you that I dropped the idea from consideration when I realized how much insurance would cost.

Instead of trying to start a new gun show, why not consider trying to buy out an existing, established promoter? Having a running track record will help not only with income, but might also be a good point when it comes to getting insured.
