Sorry to get back to you so late. My wife had surgery today and my attendance is iffy at this point. My preferred day is Friday before it gets crazy crowded on the weekends and I highly doubt I'll make it there tomorrow. I've been there, and done that and everyone should go at least once. While it's a lot of fun with tons to look at, it's not a traditional "gun show" that most people think about. It's a trade show with demos, next year's models, and some very cool things that will never reach the market place. In fact, the bulk of the show is not even firearms related.

Bottom line, is I'm doubtful for this year.

I thinking to bring my Thompson M1A1 let you show me how to shoot, I am a FFL/SOF I do not have to fill the form.

I called The Godfather last night to let him know about the wife's surgery and he'd just received notification from SAR senior editor Jim Segal that his article from last year's event won't be published until this fall. That's too late to give anyone a feel for what this event is all about and it'll be over a full year after he covered the 2007 shoot. Oh well.... :dunno


Prowler; The SHOT Show has nothing to do with the Western Show and Shoot. These are two completely different events. I've got a copy of the registration if anyone would like to have it faxed to them, just shoot me your number. AZPaul lives in the area and he may have additional information providing he doesn't attend the Uzi Talk event this year.

Thanks for your well wishes! My wife is in a lot of pain at the moment, but the surgery was successful and her prognosis for a complete recovery is very good. I don't know how long I can be a nurse... :soapbox

Don't have any info about the Thompson Shoot, but can get it if needed.

Still unsure about attending the UZI Shoot.
