Man it was COLD! Despite the weather we had a good bunch of guys and gals show up. The next match will be held March 15th in Sanger followed by the UZI TALK shoot/Match April 18-20th (email for more details) at Micky's place. As many of you know I am having a little girl at the end of May so I am taking a long summer off from the matches with them scheduled to resume in late Sept. Once again, thanks for all the help and for generaly just being a good bunch of guys.

Special thanks to Paul for donating additional prizes to the shooters.

Well, I packed my ammo the night before in the car. It was about 20degrees in the morning. I guess bullseye is Temp sensitive powder because it was puny. i was having cylcling problems until the ammo warmed up and as a result of the ammo being weaker it was quieter so the timer could not pick up my firearm suppressed. Since I did not want to waste time shooting the stage over later in the day and I had allready completed the stage I did not shoot for score and chalked it up as "timer issues". I kept wondering why I had not had this issue before. I chronoed this load at 950-1000fps. Then I thought well hell I don't ever go shooting when it is 20 outside.

Chili, go with Clays. I've shot it at 120 degrees to at least 6 below zero(last Sunday morning) with no problems.

I just ordered 8lbs of Universal clays ( to try in 9 and .45) and 3 cases of primers. Damn $40 in hazmat fee's. Should have ordered more to off set it some.

On a side note; does anyone use UC in 9mm with a 147gr bullet? I was thinking about 3.6-3.7 grns.

I think you're right on the money there chili with the 147 grain. You'll love this shit. It burns cleaner than most. I use 4.2 grains with my cast 230 grain .45 auto with great results, and like I said previously, it isn't temp sensitive.......I am, but it aint.

...the ammo being weaker it was quieter so the timer could not pick up my firearm suppressed. I don't want any of that crap in April. You need to let the brass from the ejection port and ding the timer from my Sterling MK5 or you won't pick it up on the shot timer...Seriously.

The only spanking going on will be between Chili17 and Rover Dave. :banana
Hmmm. Where are those old photos of spanky Dave?

I'll find a way to choke as usual... I don't need any help there. :bang

I would like to get Tom, Todd and Dave in a room together and let chili make everything better:spank

I think I will shoot my Suomi so I can shoot in the same class with Vegas again this year.

Todd, are you not going to make it? Tom can make it worth your while:devil

Just because Heath Ledger is dead it doesn't mean you have to take his place on broke back mountain. Lucky for you RoverDave has a thing for men in big hats. :sogay

I do not believe I will me making it to Fruity Talk... err Uzi Talk 5 this year. Too much on my plate at the moment but who knows... If you talk enough shit I might get mad and show up just to show to hand out the "golden top cover award" to the shooter who had the most RoverDave topcover like experience at th event :devil

first, let me set the record "straight". I am not gay, I like to party. Second, just so i know does it make me gay if you suck me? It is just as well that you can't make it. You fair weather types are a little sensitve. Perhaps when I am a geriatric I will come to FL to compete in the wheelchair league:jester

I'm not sure on the sucking question you'd have to ask one of the experts around here as I am unexperienced in the ways of "the gay". I suspect however after all the rump ranger action at UT5 you'll be in a wheelchair for months so we'll expect you down here in the summer time when it's nice and cool and almost zero humidity.

If you like the man meat that's fine with me.. to each his own... I think Vegas might have a problem with you if you ask him to load your mags because your wrists hurt. :jester

Wow, based off your comments I would say you are well versed in the art of gay. We are getting off topic though:chairhit . You really should try and make it. I need competition from some gator baite. I tell you what, you come down and whoever loses has to buy Vegas lapdances and go for a swim across Mickey's river. Sound like a bet?:peep Oh yes, the shit talking has started.

Todd; I can probably make arrangements to pick you up at the Airport and pay for your hotel tab as well. All you gotta do is buy your own plane ticket... What have I got to do... feed you too? :dunno

That's one hell of a pick up line Vegas.. You had me at hello :silly Thank you very much for your offer buddy and I wish it was as simple as saying "i'm there" but I have a very busy schedule in 2008 and unfortunately it's not all set in stone just yet. If I was a gogo boy like chili17 I'd be able to have my days free as I shook my ass all night to old men in night clubs... but alas.. my life is not so simple... and it's less gay too. (:jester there is no end to "the gay").

I might make it to ISSMC this year if I'm lucky and I won't be able to hit up KCR in April.. so for 2008 I'm pretty much a bitch to my work... Thank you both for the love but I don't think it's going to happen. Never say never... :jester
