Well?

I own a full size Vector already, love it. With the semi buffer in it really rips, nice to be able to do that once in awhile.

I have shot 380/9MM/45ACP mac's. The high rate of fire does little for me. Although they are neat little packages.

I have a MP5K that I like a lot. The rate of fire seems nowhere near the mac's I have shot, I like it a lot also.

The Mini is a sexy little gun, I love the folding stock. I love that I already have a ton of magazines and drums for it.

But is it just a REALLY nice Mac?

Please no offense to any Mini or Mac owners, just mussing.

Deanh,

My mini will be here around Christmas and you can shoot it when ever you feel the need to shoot it. The mini is a cool looking little beast though, but I've just held it.

I love my Mini!! With a can, you can control it very well. UZI's are like brick sh)t houses...... get one!!

The Mini is totally different from the Mac both in balance and in feel. To me the Mac seems cluncky and out of place in my hands while the Mini is just a natural. I think the difference in stocks is also night & day,the Mini side folder being far superior in design,lock-up and, studiness. And that shallow (yes I know it can be replaced) cocking knob on the Mac is a piece of crap.

I just sent the following to a member and saw this thread so I'll post it here:
I love my MINI. I personally feel the full size too big for 9mm. I would like to leave it in .45. While the 9mm is just right for the MINI. In closed bolt, it is a screamer at around 1700 rpm. In open bolt, it is still fast around 1400. I did make a "slow fire" open bolt for around 900 RPM. I can get singles out of it with that ROF. I'm playing with it some more to get it even slower for competition. It is all what "floats your boat" and the MINI does it for me. The coolness factor of the MINI and the fact that Israel no longer uses the full size while the MINI is still in use is appealing too.

Also, I found early on that controlling the MINI is not that difficult to do even without a suppressor. I think the key is keeping the elbows down. Dropping my elbows down and with a proper stance, I can easily dump all my rounds in sillouette at 40 yards.

I'm a big Mini fan too. I've never shot a MAC so I can't give a fair comparison, but my totally biased opinion is to get yourself a Mini!

I own a MAC10/45 and think it is great to shoot with a full wooden stock an suppressor, very smooth and fast.
I just purchased a MINI after examining it at a local shop (never shot a mini), I instantly saw the workmanship, fit, and feel between the two guns is like comparing a Viper with a Vega. My M10 is a real clunker next to a fine machine like the MINI. Although in principle they work the same way, if I was a line of work where I depended on a smg to stay alive I would never consider the MAC, but based on the quality of workmanship I saw and what others say, the MINI seems like a great choice.

But since I'm just a plinker and enthusiast, all I can say is that I was taken by its awesome coolness :D

I'll let you know how I feel after I take it to the range!

I too have a PS M10 .45 and closed bolt mini Uzi in transfer (went pending Oct 2, Yea!) Robert and I took out the Mini and an M16 w/grenade launcher and had a great time a few days ago.

The closed bolt mini was a RUSH to be sure! I had no problem knocking out 3 rnd bursts, but thats as low as I could get it. Full mag dumps was like riding 200 mph on a motorcycle :-) great fun! I also tried firing one handed full mag dumps with out to much difficulty with the mini.

I feel the Mac will be as fun as well , the mini Uzi seems to twice the gun of a Mac from build quality standpoint. I'm starting to warm up to Mac's but I still have not fired one. I don't think anyone would be unhappy with either.

My MAC10/45 is a lot of fun... but forget about single hand controllability! :)
Also, mine has to be kept clean and well lubed to be reliable. When dry and dirty it pretty much stops working.
Base on what i've read so far, I think the MINI will not have that problem...
