Note from Prebans: This thread was originally under "steals and deals," but the pistol sold. However, as this is just getting more and more posts, I decided to move this thread here for everybody to enjoy. :roflmao

It's up to $1500 at this point with reserve not met. To each their own, I don't get it.

You just have to wonder what was going through someones mind when they thought this up.

Looks like someone bought themselves a plating kit. I'll bet he did his teeth with it too.

I thought it was kinda cool...for a crack dealer! reminds me of the gold plated AK in "Lord of War"... definitely a rock dealers gun of choice. My question is... Seriously, who buys a gold plated UZI from a dude in Miami, Fl?.... this deal screams RIP OFF! Sorry Miami, your reputation has become a little tarnished..

So if this is "92 out of 100", someone on this site must own one and is not fessing up, RD, firefighter???
I think that I will purchase it, weld a chain loop on it (finished with the same plating), add a gold chain and wear it as my bling!!! :dunno

If a guy was going to buy a gold UZI Pistol, you'd definitely want to get one with a holster so you can carry it with you everywhere you go.

What a great turd magnet. I could set that down in the street and stand around the corner with a huge net and clear eighty percent of our warrants.

Turd magnet . Hilarious. I wonder if Gun shop employees wait and take bets on who buys the Gold-plated/chrome plated stuff, and who buys the old shitty tec-9.

I guess I shouldnt say that, as I have owned a DC-9 and a KG-9 in my gun-purchasing past, but of course sold them. Never anything Gold or silver plated though.

As someone who helped out at a gunshop, I can tell you that full-on POOLS have developed when something truly ridiculous came through.

I once purchased a mirror-chromed Tec-9 from a gun 'n pawn. It was totally reliable, bump-fired well, and was fodder for more fun and jokes from my friends when we went shooting.
I actually miss that old thing- my plan was to find a registered bolt, a set of fake gold teeth, and a bright red floppy pimp's hat with a purple feather for use at a large AZ NFA shoot.
Word, yo.

What you said, and firing the gun with your wrist rotated 90 degrees to the left (gangsta style). Could be a big hit on YouTube if you filmed it :)
And speaking of YouTube & Gold plated things -- here you go (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXMNR-YekDo) -- enjoy.
