View Full Version : Night sights for USP Compact?

Hi, folks.

I've decided that I'd like to add night sights to my USP Compact (9mm). So far I've narrowed it down to Meprolight's Tru-Dot sight set or Trijicon's Night Sight set. I like the profile of each (seems pretty similar to the factory jobs), so I'd likely go with one of these two unadjustable sets unless there's an even better choice that I don't know about for luminous adjustable sights -- this is my carry piece, so I want to keep the sight profile pretty low.

Anyhow, any opinions on Meprolight vs. Trijicon? Which ones stand up better to actual use, cleaning solvents, etc? Is one brighter than the other? Does one last longer than the other?

Any tips/advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have Mepros on my Glock 19 and Trijicons on my USP 45c.

I prefer the Trijicons. Brighter and I believe they have a longer warranty on the greens and yellows.

YMMV.
