Congratulations to the new shooters who made it out, we're glad to have you with us. We had 5 or 6 Uzitalk members at this match and it was a wonderful event with a BBQ at the end.

I am new to the NFa world and I have a NIB Vector on the way. I live in North Central Florida and would love to come down sometime this summer and take part in one of your events. How would I go about registering?
Thanks,
Brannon

Congrats on your Vector Uzi! You are more than welcome to come on down and shoot with us any time. To register for the email announcement list PM or email me your email address and I'll put you on it. The matches are held in Palm Bay Florida. Hi Brannon,
Some friends and I went to this last match and it was the most fun I've ever had shooting. I've owned a subgun for about 2 years and have wanted to try a match but since none of my friends had ever shot in any kind of competition I couldn't talk them into going with me so just I didn't go. About a month or two ago there was a thread in the Mac 10 section about the subgun matches at Port Malabar and some members here convinced me I had to go give it a try. I had to practically beg :stick the same friends until they agreed to go with me but by the time the match was over and we got in the car for the 3 1/2 hour ride home they were counting down the days until the next match. Todd and all the other shooters at Port Malabar are truly a great bunch of people who will make you feel right at home while teaching you the ins and outs of the subgun match.
Thanks again to all of you that talked me into my new addiction!
heh and your gonna have to rethink that rake and scooper thing for picking up brass

Why?
Its better than crawling around and picking it up by hand. I looks like a lot more work to clean it up than it really is. We run it through the media separator to get the dirt out then dump it in one end of a large box and lightly shake it at an angle so the brass falls and the grass doesn't. All that brass was cleaned and ready for loading by Monday night. I've been in Indiana all week for a funeral or it a lot of it would probable be loaded.
well werent you the one complaining on the one stage about the sweeper not working too well? i was just jokin around with ya about it

No, it was Mike complaining but we've been friends for 25 years so I've learned to ignore him. It's nice to pick up that much brass but the subguns bulge a lot of it so its kind of a pain to sort it out.
So, have you started buying ammo for next moth yet?
aint gonna make this months one, i got the email from todd, but upper respitory infection wont allow me to kick ass again
