When: Saturday, March 15th
The match will be rain or shine, so bring appropriate beverages, food and clothes.

What to bring: You will need at least 4 20rd+ magazines, a MagPouch, and at least 300rds of ammo. Oh Yea, and a SMG with appropriate form (3,4,5, ect.).

This match is designed to be fun/educational. It will be challenging enough for the experienced shooter and simple enough for the novice. All are welcome!

Due to time restraints we can only accommodate 40 shooters. First come, first serve.

Match fee is $25 per person and $15 per additional gun.

Due to the use of steel targets only pistol caliber SMGs will be allowed

Sign in is at 8:30 am and will start shooting promptly at 9:00am. Plan on the match to take most of the day. If you have any questions please call (940)891-0205.

0331...... By all means....... Go to chili17's SMG match. Watch closely and learn. Pick chili17's brain for some tips. chili17 is GOOD PEOPLE......

Being your first SMG match...... DO NOT try to keep up with the speed of the better shooters. SLOW HITS are better than FAST MISSES........

Hopefully you have a mag pouch that will hold 3 - 30rd mags.......... If not, you can probaly borrow one at the match.......

Now....... The MOST IMPORTANT part........ Take your camera(s) and ask somebody to shoot video of you shooting. You can later watch the videos and see (learn) where you were "off"......

I had so much fun I forgot to shoot. I filled out the score sheet and didn't give it back to Chili. Therefore I never got called up. I was too stupid to ask why. There was a couple of other people who were just watching and I thought that we were going to shoot in another round or something. You may want to reconsider hanging around me as some of my stupidity may rub off on you SGF. I really had a good time and Chili let me shoot a 22 converted mac and I put 2 full mags through it and it ran flawlessly, I can see now why people want these things as they are sweet when they run good.

I had a ball and won a T-shirt (the booby prize)! You guys will be proud of me.... I shot the most hostages, and put the most rounds through one hostage!!

I'm thinking Rover Dave may want to reconsider me being a range instructor at UT5 next month!!
