Hey all! Just joined. Got kicked out of HKPRO for asking, so I ask here instead.

The HK45C, will it become less tall when the sights on the new version is changed from the original HK45C sights`to the USP sights? Also, is the overall height measure with a magazine inside or without? I sure hope it is measured with a mag, and with that mag bottom, because there's this IPSC class "civilian pistol 3" where I want the HK 45C as a small backup-type gun, but the current model is 5 mm. too tall, and I am hoping the sights will become shorter enough and that I can swap out the mag bottom with a straight bottom from the USP Compact .45 (I know it fits) and have it short enough to fit into the box that way.
Also the HK45C is juuust 0,6 mm. too wide, don't know if it's the fancy safety lever that makes up "all" of that thickness, but I am hoping the "box" can be mashed shut on a gun with that small of a size problem?

If not then I'll just have to go with the HK USP Compact .45 instead, but I wanted the HK45C.

Also gonna get the USP .45 and put in a suppressor barrel, and use as a service pistol. (I don't relie on any match triggers in the field, plus I want to switch back to the non-suppressed barrel for some types of carry.)

My newly aquired Glock19 didn't fit my hands, but my USP 9mm with suppressor fits me aaaalmost perfectly.

Thanks!

I've noticed a lot that HKPRO is a rather click-ish site and anal about stupid stuff... Why exactly did you get kicked from there? :-)
