Just received 5-32 round Uzi mags and they are advertised to be IMI manufacture, no stampings, and painted, not parked. Is this the real deal? They are in 100% condition in white paper wrap, I won't tell you where I got them from because the company is highly recomended on several boards. My only guess is they were made here in the US by IMI. I really don't have a clue, any help would be appreciated.

I just re-read the ad on the internet, they are advertised as Israeli military contract magazines, what do you make of that?

Thanks I have one of those 40's . It is parkerized and very hard to load the last few rds in. I will try it out at the next range trip and see how it functions.

Funny.  I bought eight 32-round IMI mags from Vector and none of them were marked.  THis was covered at subguns.com numerous times, and it was supposedly determined that some IMI mags are in fact not marked.

So in everyone's opinion, should i stick with just factory IMI mags? Have a couple already, two have Star on them, other three unmarked...

I have a bunch of 32 round mags that I got from CDNN a couple years ago that they advertised as IMI factory. They don't have any markings and came in some white wax paper. I also have IMI marked 32 rounders. Comparing the two, they look very similar. The main point is that I've never had a failure with these mags even with the high ROF with the MINI Uzi.
Also, another good mag is the C&S 72 round drum mag. Mine works flawlessly.

The 3/32 rounders I bought were marked IMI down by the floorplate on the side of the mag. They were a satin black laquer paint sort of finish. I bought 3 other 32 rounders that were covered in a green parkerize with a star down by the floorplate on the side of the box. They were used but in excellent condition and I did have to watch out for bad feed lips as some were cracked from inserting them in the gun so stinkin' hard for such a long time.:smash
